Frequently asked questions about alternative therapies and laser therapy
Which complaints can be treated with laser treatments?
Our laser therapies help with conditions such as vaginal dryness, stress incontinence, scars, wrinkles, pigmentation disorders and even chronic conditions such as lichen sclerosis. Each treatment is individually tailored to your needs to achieve maximum results.
Is the laser treatment painful?
Most laser treatments are virtually painless. You may feel a slight warmth or tingling sensation, which most patients describe as well tolerated. We make sure that you feel comfortable during the treatment.
How many sessions are necessary for visible results?
The number of sessions depends on the type of treatment and your individual needs. Often 1 to 3 sessions are sufficient to achieve visible and lasting results. We will be happy to advise you in a personal consultation.
Does health insurance cover the costs of laser therapy?
Many laser treatments, especially in the aesthetic field, are not covered by health insurance. In the case of medically necessary therapies, such as the treatment of lichen sclerosis, we will be happy to clarify the cost coverage options with you.
How long does a laser treatment take and should I expect any downtime?
A treatment usually takes 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the area and method. In most cases, you can go about your daily life immediately afterwards, as there is little or no downtime.
